When the switch is in the “REM” position, you MUST use a solid 12 volts to switch on. If you have no hard switched 12 volts (like the ignition key or an aftermarket radio switch 12V output) then use either the VOX (signal sensing) or DC offset (looks at the difference between power and signal ground).
