Research shows that 83% of a putt's starting direction is influenced by the direction of the putter's face at impact (the path of the putter's head controls the other 17%). Lie Angle Balance (L.A.B.) Technology takes into account lie, angle, and weighting to create a putter that stays square to the arc throughout the stroke, delivering a square putter face at impact. Essentially, L.A.B has fashioned a perfectly balanced putter, eliminated torque, and, with no further adjustments, allowed golfers to consistently and effortlessly produce a repeatable stroke. The DF3 performs virtually the same as the original Directed Force, rendering mis-hits inconsequential, regardless of whether they're struck on the heel or toe. While M.O.I., stability, and forgiveness levels are effectively unchanged, the DF3's compact shape is much more appealing than its ungainly predecessor. It's worth noting that the cutout at the putter's tail picks up the ball without necessitating bending over. By engaging the larger muscles, longer putters help eliminate unwanted movements that cause inconsistencies. Added weight, in the form of a slightly taller head and four additional weight ports, was required to balance the DF3 Armlock properly.
