Featuring distance-focused, forgiving long irons paired with precise short irons, the game-improvement Cleveland ZipCore XL Irons�optimize power and control in a single set. Cleveland's ZipCore technology, typically reserved for its wedges, is responsible for the short irons' consistent performance and accuracy. By locating the center of gravity directly behind the ball striking area, ZipCore generates an abundance of horizontal and vertical stability, resulting in exceptional MOI, feel, and control. When engineering the long irons' MainFrame technology, Cleveland utilized artificial intelligence to simulate thousands of strikes across the face. The subsequent results were evaluated, face geometries were adjusted, and thousands more simulations were run. This exacting process led to the creation of a series of channels and cavities carefully milled into the backside of the ZipCore XL Iron faces that maximize flex at impact, resulting in extreme COR, the measurement for a club's ball speed potential. The final piece of technology powering the ZipCore XL isn't found in the club head. Cleveland inserts an 8g weight at the end of the shaft, creating a counterbalanced effect, the benefits of which are dynamic.
