To clean and replace the Post Motor filter begin by pressing the Tank Release Button and pull the tank away from the vacuum. With the dirt container removed, squeeze tabs and pull up to access the Post Motor Filter. Twist the filter counter-clockwise to unlock and remove from the vacuum. Lift to remove filter. The pleated filter may NOT be washed. If dust/debris accumulates, gently tap the filter on the inside of the trash bin. When reassembling, place the filter back in unit and twist clockwise to "click" into place. Replace this filter every 3 to 6 months. Post Motor Filter for Select Upright Vacuums 1606751
