Brand new 1/72 scale diecast model of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet Aircraft "VFA-15 Retro TAC Demo Jet, VFA-106 Gladiators" (2017) from the United States Navy, part of the "Air Power Series" by Hobby Master, comes in a brand new box and features detailed exterior and true-to-scale detail. The model includes a pilot figure, has an opening canopy, detachable ordnance loads, detachable landing gear, and a display stand. Constructed from diecast metal and plastic, it offers durability and a heavy, realistic feel, with realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, and surface details that authentically replicate the real aircraft. The F/A-18C Hornet, Bureau Number 164718, served as the “Retro TAC Demo Jet” for Strike Fighter Squadron 15 (VFA-15) under the training wing of VFA-106 Gladiators in March 2017.
