Rose Madder textile is dyed with natural madder roots, which is a traditional Japanese herbal dyeing technique. The original heather colour is achieved by weaving the canvas fabric from the unevenly-dyed threads, beautifully transforming the subtle hues as light and perspective shift. The material of the invisible brim core is constructed from a blend of plant-derived and recycled resins, primarily sourced from sugar cane. The liner’s tape component is crafted from high-quality typewriter fabric from a renowned Japanese textile maker. The colour of this garment will change over time due to the use of chemical-free natural herbal dye. Although the fabric is UV-cut treated, prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or fluorescent light can cause the colour to fade. To retain the original colour for as long as possible, please store in a place away from light. If sand or dirt adheres to the product, remove it with a dry cloth or soft brush. For water-soluble stains, hand wash the soiled area in room temperature water and be sure to dry it in its original shape before use. Use only neutral agents if necessary and never use alkaline, bleach, fabric softeners or brighteners.
