It's perfect for powering front tweeters, midrange, and mid-bass components, rear full-range speakers, plus a couple of subwoofers from bridged channels - or whatever other combinations you can dream up. If you're leaving the factory stereo intact, all the audio functions that were available in your system will still work after upgrading the power of each individual speaker by routing the factory signals through the amplifier. The HDP-D90 can handle pre-processed factory signals up to 80 watts per channel, so even your vehicle's premium amplified system can be upgraded without losing features. The HDP-D90 features 14 channels of digital sound processing (DSP) controlled by Alpine's HDP DSP tuning app running on your laptop or PC, or their HDP-D90 mobile phone tuning app via Bluetooth connection to your device.
