When the power button is on, the pump will run via solar energy when the panels are in direct sunlight. When the sun goes down the battery pack will operate the pump for up to 4 hours on a full charge. To use the battery in this continual use mode, simply press the [Power] button until the [on] indicator light turns on. This will run the pump via the battery until the battery runs out of power.
