Men's Brown Leather Backpack - A Bend In The River One Size Time Resistance

A unique Origami inspired Italian leather backpack A Bend in the River represents our vision in design and function: it is clean yet intricate. Born in the heart of Italy this full-grain leather beauty is a worthy contender in the backpack world. More function, more quality, more travel! Features: Compartment for a laptop up to 13" (e. g. macBook 13" as well as MacBook Air 13) Carry handle with pleasant grip for easy carrying in hand Adjustable shoulder straps Multiple compartments and pockets to keep everything in order Suitable for A4 documents and folders Reliable hardware. Exterior made from full-grain cowhide (Vachetta leather) that will last you for decades. Interior lined with cotton and leather. Time Resistance bags and accessories are made from premium quality full-grain hand-dyed vegetable-tanned Italian cowhide, known as Vachetta leather. This exquisite leather is tanned exclusively with natural tannins of vegetable origin, ensuring that it is free from toxic substances. The tannin extracts are fundamental to the slow tanning process, which preserves the leather's natural look and results in a one-of-a-kind pattern for each piece. Leather Care: Moisturize With time and handling, leather can lose moisture and oils, leading to dryness, flaking, and wrinkling. To keep the leather supple, it should be moisturized regularly. We recommend using a quality leather balsam containing a blend of natural waxes and oils such as beeswax, jojoba oil, and avocado oil. Dip an application sponge or a soft cloth into the balsam and rub it gently over the bag. If the leather doesn’t absorb it all, wipe off the excess with a clean cloth. This should be done once every month or two. Time Resistance bags come pre-treated with a healthy coating of balsam, so you can start using them right away. Avoid Water Water can be detrimental to leather by robbing it of natural oils and causing discoloration and wrinkles. If you’ve been diligent with moisturizing and have chosen a balsam that contains beeswax, it will act as a barrier against moderate amounts of water. However, avoid exposing your bag to heavy rain. If your bag does get soaking wet, do not force-dry it with heat. Wipe it with a dry cloth and let it dry slowly at room temperature, ensuring it maintains its shape during the drying process. Extra Tips: Cover Up: Store your bag in the original dust bag, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Stuff it to maintain shape, but avoid using newspapers as they can smear. Air it every few weeks to prevent mold. No Alcohol: Avoid products containing alcohol or acetone as they can damage the leather. Stretch Marks: Do not overstuff your bag as leather stretches out but does not revert back. Humidity can accelerate this process. Smells: If your bag absorbs odors, place an open container of baking soda inside and leave it overnight to absorb the smells.
