Firmness and sleep fit The Starling is designed around a medium-to-firm comfort range, generally described around 6 to 8 on a 10-point firmness scale depending on the internal layer orientation. The softer orientation is suited to sleepers who want more contouring and pressure relief. The firmer orientation is suited to sleepers who want more support, easier movement, and less sink.
